If you're only running r miles...and you've eaten a good meal the previous evening for dinner and you're well hydrated, you're okay if you don't eat. Running for more than an hour, yes...I would eat something light...like fruit. It's even more important that you eat within 15-20 minutes after your run so you refuel your carbohydrate stores! Happy running
