Hammer Recoverite

Has anyone tried this post-run recovery drink?

As I am aging and now increasing my mileage again, I think some type of recovery drink could be beneficial for next day runs....

Re: Hammer Recoverite

Carbohydrate recovery beverages supply additional carbohydrate in addition to protein, in a ratio of 4:1. Brand titles encompass Accelerate and Endurox R4. Studies have shown that this blend can increase presentation and decrease free radicals and sinew impairment, vs. utilizing a sports drink that only restores carbohydrates and electrolytes.

Re: Hammer Recoverite

I've used Recoverite, it's pretty tasty. I'd say it's my favorite out of the commercial recovery drinks.

But these drinks aren't necessary, just convenient. If you have the time, make a with some whey protein after your run and you'll do just fine.
