Anti-oxidants for runners?

Hey everyone,

I read this article on Running Times and wondering what everyone thinks of supplementing anti-oxidants to your diet?

I found this supplement called Oxi-7 that looks pretty good and ordered it. Anyone taking it?

Please let me know, as I am curious to what other runners do.

Thanks,

Joe aka Shortlegs

Also found this on Oral Supplementation. Any thoughts anyone? I would really like some opinions.

Any thoughts? Any thoughts on Oxi-7?

I would like to post whatever feedback I get on my blog. I want the opinion of real runners.

i don't think there is such thing as too much. a lot of foods have anti oxidants in them, such as black coffee, blueberries, dark chocolate, and cranberry juice. these things are all good for you, and i don't think you have to limit yourself to them.

Anti oxidants are essential to prevent cellular damage. Vitamin C and bowl of berries act as powerful anti oxidants which is needed to scope the free radicals released during exercise and running.
