Question on morning runs
I am going to stat my new plane in a couple weeks easing from my typical 5K to 10K and ending in a half marathon with plans to do my second marathon next year in the summer (want to give myself a TON of time to train for another full)
So here is a question. My short runs are going to be in the mornings, then I will shower and head to work. Should I eat anything before the run? Should I be doing a carb load the night before? The reason I ask is that I often feel very ill if I eat before a run but I am wondering if I should throw down like a small fruit bar or granola or something since my stomache will be mostly empty when I start my run thanks in advance! -Kyo |

Re: Question on morning runs
yes, you should eat sweets in order to gain energy to do your run.. then carbs afterwards to give your body something to burn with after the run..[/quote]
Eat sweets before your run? Maybe if you want to vomit or get stomach cramps. Either skip breakfast or have something wholesome like oatmeal. For more take a peek at this link Last edited by Peace_Hope; 12-21-2015 at 02:37 PM.. |
