Triathlon Knee Pain - Compression? Ice?

Hi guys, I have been getting a sharp pain in my right knee these past few days and really have no idea what the problem is. I did a sprint triathlon a few weeks ago where I smashed the run section but I am not sure if that is the cause of the problem. What should i be doing in terms of treatment - ice? compression? or should i be consulting a physio?
